Furtherfield.org Coordinator Opportunity
Furtherfield.org is a not-for-profit, artist-led organisation. Based
in North London, we provide an online and physical platform for
creating, exhibiting, commissioning, and discussing networked media
arts. Our gallery, HTTP, is a dedicated space for exhibiting
networked media art in London.
Furtherfield.org is undergoing an exciting period of organisational
and programme development following our recent increase in regular
funding from Arts Council England. We are looking to hire a part-time
(.4 rising to .6) Coordinator who will play a key role in
facilitating this process, as well as participating in a central
capacity in the overall running of the organisation and its projects.
We require an experienced administrator who is also enthusiastic
about getting involved in contributing to the organisation's core
programming and activities. Furtherfield.org is a dynamic workplace
where all staff members are encouraged to contribute to the
organisation's activities and there is considerable opportunity for
personal and professional growth.
Furtherfield.org provides equal opportunities to all. Qualified
candidates from all sectors of the community are encouraged to apply.
Interested candidates should visit www.furtherfield.org to learn more
about the organisation's activities, and email
[log in to unmask] for a full job description. Applicants should
submit by email to the address above a detailed CV and personal
statement of no more than one page, which should make clear their
reasons for applying for the post as well as their qualifications
relative to the job description and person specification.
Deadline for applications 5pm on Thursday, 27 March.
