Further to my note on the unfinished book Ronald Crozier was working on, Sabine Crozier has commented that:
"Ron's draft covers everything on salitre (saltpetre) and iodine, from the earliest known usage, i.e. China, etc.
It goes through the 19th century, and what is unfortunately missing, as far as [the professor at the Universidad
Catolica] is concerned, is the 20th century, because Ron knew all that history better than anyone else.
Maybe I should have asked : is there any history student wishing to do a PhD who would go to Santiago and
study the material available, mainly in Spanish, covering the 20th century?
