Morning session: Changing the record: Moving to MARC 21
Thinking about whether, when and why to change to MARC 21? This event
will cover the benefits and features of MARC 21, and migration and
implementation issues. It is intended for those in public libraries and
any others who are considering making the change.
Afternoon session: CIG Standards Forum
This seminar will give you the latest news on the major standards in the
library world. There will be updates on recent changes to MARC 21 and
Dewey Decimal Classification and reports on how the AACR/RDA work is
progressing. Speakers are: Corine Deliot, Gordon Dunsire, Ann Chapman
and Alan Danskin.
Cost: £35 per session (£5 discount for CIG members).
