I submit that this is contrary to Art. 8 of the Convention, that is to
say, right for respect for private and family life.
IIRC that's a qualified right, and may be interfered with. Public
security is clearly a justification. But the interference must be
proportionate, and necessary in a democratic society.
As there are other methods, it's clearly not necessary, and
disproportionate.
There may be an argument that BAA is not a public authority, but as it's
stated this fingerprinting is for Immigration purposes, I suspect it is.
