Xenophobia is a fear or contempt of that which is foreign or unknown,
especially of strangers or foreign people - and a strong & hurtful word from you.
My wife was 1/4 French - my mother-in-law naturally French speaking - my
business partner [and eventual uncle to my son] was black Nigerian - I readily
employed all races amongst my 25 staff in London [inc. Parkistani & Indian]
and found them exceptionally intelligent, hard working & honest - my secretary
was from New Zealand - my export customers were Chinese, Norwegian, German,
Dutch, Danish, South African, Italian, American, Australian, Greek, Spanish,
Polish, Malasian - and French.
Since my divorce I have had both a Nigerian and a Polish girlfriend - and
have dated Lativian, Russian, Irish & Scottish girls.
I wonder however how you and I would have got on as suppliers/customers -
