The final conference for the OPTIMUM 2 project, held in collaboration with the Dutch National Conference on Mobility Management (NCM) will be held on 16-17 April 2008 in Zaandam, near Amsterdam.
The conference is free of charge and will focus on a number of different travel planning solutions piloted in business and hopsital areas.

OPTIMUMē is an EU-funded project which aims to improve the accessibility of urban areas and the environment and to foster economic growth by reducing solo car use and by encouraging the use of alternative transport. It brings together mobility management experience gained by 9 partners in 10 local projects from the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. In addition, professionals involved in the accessibility of hospitals and business areas exchange experience gained in the OPTIMUMē Network. The project will result in tested practical solutions for accessibility problems in urban areas
