The Tech Museum in San Jose is exploring the idea of using Second Life as a
space to design exhibits collaboratively, I have info on my work computer
rather than here unfortunately, but if you contact the museum I'm sure
they'll point you at the right person

Dear Maria
One of the ESRC Festival of Social Science events this week is being held in
second life - you can find the web information at www.esrcfestival.ac.uk -
and click on the virtual events listings to find the location if you are
interested in participating.
Kind regards
Melanie

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Second Life for science communication?
Hi,
I'm a science communication student at Birkbeck College and I want to do my
dissertation on
science communication using the virtual world Second Life.
I'd like to hear from anyone who has used Second Life for seminars,
exhibitions etc or from
anyone planning to set up a virtual exhibition in the next few months. If
there are any UK groups
actively researching in this area that would be great to know as well.
Thanks
Maria
