Does anyone know how many attacks of Tonsillitis per year define ' frequent
attacks' in an adult?
According to the NICE guidelines, as far as I can see this is not made
clear, with regard to undergoing tonsillectomy.
I have an employee who averages three episodes a year, which is enough to
trip sickness triggers, but her GP has so far refused to refer her.
Combined with a longer absence due to a leg fracture, her sicknesslevels
are quite high as you can imagine.
Any ideas?
