Sarah,
I could not get through on the yahoo address so have copied the message there below - hope this reaches you.
Sarah,
3 questions:
- I am certainly interested in the conference, but due to the cost of getting there and back I am reluctant to commit until I know more of the programme, especially for the morning, please.
If you think it would be of value, I would be willing to share my own research outcomes as part of a programme - i.e. moving from 'feedback' to 'dialogic review' (i.e. learning conversations) -analysis of evidence of current practice (by BGUC primary ITT mentors) and of a more reflective replacement.
- When shall we hear if the seminar session at BERA Conference has been approved (or not).? Will that form part of the Conference programme?
- What is the proposed more specific focus/audience for the book? I would like to be thinking about possible approach/content for my part before the Conference.
Kathleen Taylor is a programme leader at Bishop Grosseteste University College and is currently researching for her doctorate the use of video of lessons for feedback with ITT students. I thought you might be interested in involving her in the group, or with your own research interests - if so - her email address is. [log in to unmask]
Thanks,
Peter

Subject: Re: An Invitation to our Mentoring and Coaching SIG Conference
Dear Peter and Kerry and Everyone here,
Thank you both for your very prompt and enthusiastic responses to my email last night
I am delighted you can come on 5th - we now have 12 free places (your places deducted from 14) and I can see several other emails in response to my invitation to our SIG function.
Realising some will need to travel long distances to Bath I have put the discussion about our book provisionally for 1.00pm - we'll start the day at 9.00 for 9.30am - I'll present first off,
Looking forward to seeing you again soon,
Sarah
