medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Speaking of Holy Week, without checking I seem to recall that Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox, March 21. It would also seem that there would have to be at least one intervening day between the 21st and Easter. Or if there's a full moon on the 21st, could the next day, if a Sunday, be Easter? If so, then one of the "after,"s is missing. Or am I off here? How can Easter be the 22nd is the simplest form of my question.
Thanks for any enlightenment.
