Facilitating a critical appraisal skills workshop

This one-day workshop is highly interactive and aimed at those who need to facilitate workshops or journal clubs. Many are Medical Librarians who are becoming more involved in this area. The workshop leaders are all experienced and approachable facilitators who will share materials and examples to illustrate important teaching points.
What is covered?
The importance of the icebreaker
Understanding and interpreting statistics
Handling brainstorming
Techniques for rapid appraisal
Handling group dynamics
Troubleshooting difficult situations.
We will assume you:
have a basic understanding of critical appraisal methods and resources.
