Located in Trastevere, just down the steps from the American Academy on
the Janiculum Hill, in walking-distance of the Vatican, the Pantheon,
Piazza Navona, S. Maria in Trastevere, downtown shopping of all kinds,
as well as a variety of public transportation to all points in the
city. Around the corner from the newly renovated San Cosimato piazza,
playground and market, it is also just removed from the intense
nightlife of the Trastevere neighborhood. With two large full
bathrooms, a delightful triple room with full-sized beds and desks for
all, an enormous master bedroom with two study areas, modern kitchen,
dining room and living room, our apartment is comfortable for a family
of 5, such as our own, and luxurious for single scholars or smaller
ménages. Built near the turn of the 20th century, very high ceilings,
marble floors, 3rd floor with elevator. Only a short walk up the hill
to the enchanting park of Villa Sciarra, magnificent views of the city
from the Fontanone and Janiculum, and the immense stretches of bike and
walking trails of Villa Pamphili. Academic year only. 2000€/month
