Dear David
"Scott's SFB p322" refers to:
SCOTT, Dukinfield Henry (1900). Studies in Fossil Botany. London: A. and C.
Black, xiii+533 p.
or
SCOTT, Dukinfield Henry (1908-09). Studies in Fossil Botany. (2nd edition).
London: A. and C. Black, 2 volumes, xx+676 p.
There is a later 3rd edition too.
I imagine that the specimen is either the one referred to or illustrated by
Scott or a specimen that the original curator compared with the material
described/illustrated on p. 322.
Best wishes,
Patrick
