This does look extremely strange I'm afraid.
Is this the first error that occurs in your log?
If it is then the only thing I can think of at the moment
is that it is something to do with the file systems being
unhappy in a 32/64 bit way. We have seen that occassionally.
If it is this then it will probably work on some machines
but not on all machines. Is that what you see?
You could test it by trying to look at the file that it is
complaining about on different machines (you may need to
copy it if /ifs/tmp is local). For instance, can you run
fslmaths inputfile -mul 1 outputfile
successfully on any machines?
If you can't identify what's going wrong then it might be best
to send us a tar of the feat directory (via our upload site - see
previous list emails) including a description of how you set up
the GUI (save the design.fsf file is easiest).
