Heather
I have done 10 metres on a simple cable without a hitch. We use booster devices to relay images from VGA on a PC over Cat5 to TV screens in separate buildings (probably in excess of 213 feet (I have not measured it but I am confident it is). If that is of use, I can get you the product/contact for the booster.

Subject: [VLES] how long can a VGA cable be?
Hi
not strictly a VLE question unless you include trying to demo it in a big auditorium!
How long can a VGA cable be? We have had a look on the net and come up with
9 to 10 metres or with a powered splitter 213 feet.
Now these seem somewhat different in my opinion. Has anyone got direct experience or ideas about how long a VGA cable can really be and if you have to do anything special to achieve lengths like 213 feet?
Many thanks
Heather
