Interesting to note from the ICO research on attitudes to listening CCTV...
(23 page .pdf)
http://www.icmresearch.co.uk/pdfs/2008_january_info_commission_cctv_poll.pdf
That roughly 30 per cent of Brits actually "support the use of Close
Circuit Television cameras that can record your conversations".
The ICO has made much of the fact that around 70 per cent of pepole were
opposed. But this 30 per cent is much more interesting, IMHO.
Can anyone suggest any sources of information that might provide an
insight into why certain people think this way? Other studies? Interest
groups in support of such things?
Mark.
