Could you be a Beacon for Public Engagement?
Cardiff University and its partners are looking for two enthusiastic and
self-motivated project staff to establish and run the Beacon for Wales, part
of a national programme that aims to encourage and support public engagement
in higher education.
Beacon for Wales Manager (fixed term for 3 years, with a possible extension
to 4)
An experienced project-manager with a thorough understanding of the public
engagement agenda in H.E. and other sectors, the successful candidate will
have the confidence to influence others combined with a proven ability to
deliver complex projects to diverse audiences.
Salary and benefits: £34,813 - £40,335 per annum (Grade 7), with a
contributory pension and excellent employee benefits.
Beacon for Wales Officer (fixed term for 3 years, with a possible extension
to 4)
A highly organised and enthusiastic project officer with an understanding of
the public engagement agenda, the successful candidate in this role will
support the Project Manager but also have the capacity to take
responsibility for their own agenda of work.
Salary and benefits: £27,466 - £32,796 per annum (Grade 6), with a
contributory pension and excellent employee benefits.
