Good grief! Does that mean that those with epilepsy can't wear any
spectacles and are wandering around bumping into things!! I think not.
He's having a laugh!

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Safety glasses in Epilepsy
Good morning.
Please could any of you out there help?
I have recently joined a company providing Occ. Health to several
industrial sites and am new to this website.
An employee at one of the factories i am responsible for, states that he
cannot wear safety glasses due to him being an epileptic. My senior nurse
has never heard of this being a contra-indication, so i am appealing to
the masses, to see if anyone has come across this and for any advice.
Thank You,
Angie Sendell, RN
