Before the list 'closes' it would be very good to see some additions from other cultures and languages (in translation if appropriate). I think the majority so far are UK/US, and it would be even more enlightening to see suggestions that may provide insights from a wider range of parts of the world.

I have also been following this with interest.
Some of these books I have read but many I have not. I would also be
interested in the list of books when you have compiled it Teresa. Thanks
for your initiative with this you might save some of us a bit of work.
This list is definitely worthy of spreading wider I believe and could be
a useful article in a journal, additional to the usual textbooks we see
reviewed. I would like to put it in my blog if that is OK with others
here.
Regards
Carolyn

Thanks Teresa,
I realised too late that I should have written them all down myself
before clearing the overfull in box. I would be grateful for the list
when you have it completed,
Cheers, Robyn

Dear List Members
I am loving this theme and would like the permission from everyone who
has contributed to share the book list with my colleagues.
I am going to write down all the book titles and references and then
circulate them.
As a member of a book club and an avid reader I know that I am not alone
in finding this discussion very interesting.
Hope everyone is happy for me to share it outside the forum.
Many thanks
Teresa Driver
