Dear Colleagues,
Apologies for cross-posting - I hope that most of you are already aware of
this but just in case! - and for the short notice. Please feel free to
forward to colleagues who may be interested.
Expressions of Interest to attend the Adaptation and Resilience to a
Changing Climate launch event at which a £6 million call for proposals
will be announced are currently being invited by the EPSRC. The call is
being developed by the EPSRC as a part of the Living with Environmental
Change Programme and in collaboration with LWEC Partners (including ESRC)
and is open to researchers from the social sciences as well as from other
felds of research.
Adaptation and Resilience to a Changing Climate, will draw on the LWEC
partners to build on the successful EPSRC/UKCIP programme 'Building
Knowledge of Climate Change' and the subsequent knowledge transfer
network 'Sustaining Knowledge of Climate Change'. In particular it will
take forward the outputs of the stakeholder and researcher workshops that
were organised by the Sustaining Knowledge of Climate Change knowledge
transfer network.
Expressions of Interest (short 1 page form) are invited before 5 March
2008 to attend the above event on 27 March at the Radisson SAS, Birmingham.
