Couldn't the student just pull it out of the cache, even if you were to
disable right-click? There are methods to do this, but they're
definitely chocolate fireguard if someone is determined enough.
One option you can consider is dynamic watermarking which I use in
another life - each image generated can be watermarked (and/or have EXIF
data stuffed into it) that identifies user/time/etc.
