Relatedly, you do of course realize that the homunculus as Crowley used
the term is specifically created to be independent of its creator and
must therefore be released to have a life of its own. If its creator
is incapable of releasing it, then it does kill its creator.
For some odd reason, Crowley seems never to have connected the magical
formula of creating a homunculus to that of the golem. But, the two
seem similar. Pondering... I wonder if anyone in the Man of Earth
grade has ever given consideration to the definitions of 'golem' and
'adam' and related them to 'man of earth'?
As to the definition of 'demon', one might be well-served to consider a
demon to be an angel one was not ready for.
