Hi Listers,
I assume that this dropped into everyone's inbox at about 2mb, and for
some people, this will be just too much. When the attachments are Word
documents, it's worth taking logos out and replacing them with text,
especially where they are repeated on every page top and bottom (they do
tend to inflate the document size to no great purpose). If there are
necessary illustrations/diagrams, try converting to Acrobat pdf files
(your organisation should have access to Acrobat distiller in some form,
either from Acrobat 8 Pro or other (shareware) utilities.
I hope this is useful - it's intended to be friendly :-)
Best wishes,
Jim Roberts

Hi GEMers
Does anyone have experience of devising and delivering a community
consultation plan that informed a gallery or learning programme
development?
We're currently exploring how to develop a community learning programme
and redevelop our permanent galleries and visitor facilities at two
sites and need to start from the very beginning. It seems like a huge
but really exciting task and it would be great to learn from the
experiences of others.
If anyone could share their methodology or experience of community
consultation, we'd be really grateful.
Kind Regards
Vicky
