Dear Sarah,
This news is very exciting indeed!
I would like to provide a paper I wrote and presented last year at a BERA
Seminar/Conference day as part of a chapter or a chapter of the hoped for
publication. It's title is 'The Knowledge Of The Mentor:The Influences Of
Theory And Practice'.
Just let me know when you would like an electronic copy sent on to you for
any submission etc.
I have also submitted an abstract for and academic poster for the Mentoring
and Coaching Sig for BERA 2008.
Would you like me to send you a copy of my abstract?
Best wishes
Rosalind

Subject: Re: Fw: Mentoring and Coaching SIG publication - calls for interest
Dear All,
I have been in contact with BERA again today and asked to send them a brief
overview about the kind of publication our SIG might like - we can aim for
publishing in-house with BERA (i.e. a pamphlet) and with 6 more expressions
of interest today we can set our sights on a book published by a major
publisher. My feeling is we should keep options open - maybe we will manage
both routes?
I am looking to see the level of interest, a possible timescale and what is
being offered by us before designing the structure - my ideas are
coalescing. Please keep the ideas flowing in by emailing me - we can arrange
our book(s) by themes or e.g. by asking every SIG member to contribute - any
preferences?
At present themes are emerging and it would be a very exciting way to
proceed,
Best wishes - looking forward to hearing from YOU ...
Sarah
PS Apologies for cross posting as I copy to our 3 lists who are contributing
