i meant to add that using this particular "non standard" source reminds me of
something which i stumbled upon in this curious thing:

and which i found of use to a particular historical issue i'm trying to deal
with, largely in the absence of enough "standard" sources.

i was unaware that "florilegia" contained information outside of a strictly
theological context; but then i never really looked into them, being both
Theologically Challenged and inclined to ignore things which i initially think
won't be of use for my purposes.
"Everything is Grist for my Mill" might be a good New Motto.
