This is a most exciting event happening at the University of British Columbia campus in Vancouver, Canada; The Unruly Salon Series Presented by Green College at UBC January 12-March 29th, 2008.
Notable scholars and performers in the field of Canadian disability arts, culture, and studies will be bringing their skills and talents to Green College as part of series that strives to demonstrate the pursuit of equality and inclusion is a cultural task as much as it is an academic or political one.
Check out the Salon web-site for more information and to download the registration form.

On an important sidebar, if you are a Vancouver-area resident, familiar with the city and the UBC-Vancouver campus, volunteers are most needed and welcomed to help with each of the sessions doing various activities such as working at the registration table, greetings and directions, handing out programs, assisting with performance set ups and takedowns, etc.
Contact me at [log in to unmask] for more information per the registration or to sign up as a volunteer with the Salon.
