Hi Mary, yes it is possible using the channel feature or some other RSS resources and putting the channel into a module box. There are also some tools available to put RSS into course, one problem I have come across is the problem with using the RSS Channel option in blackboard as it seems to have problems in 7.3. I'm not sure if this has been fixed in 8.0. If you check out the http://www.oscelot.org/ for a useful building block for RSS.

Subject: RSS
Hi
Is it possible to setup areas of Blackboard to publish RSS feeds (other
than Podcasting). Of particular interest would be Announcements, new
Course Materials etc. I know this was 'talked' about before. I was just
wondering if there have been any developments.
Thanks
May
