Submissions are invited for papers to be presented at the
ISA-RC33 7th International Conference in Naples, September 1-5, 2008

In particular, you are invited to submit an abstract for the Session
on "Event History Analysis". The session description is as follows:
The session invites contributions to all aspects of event history
analysis in the social sciences. Of particular interest are:
- Multivariate event history analysis and recurrent events,
including frailty models
- Competing risks and semi-Markov models
- Sequence analysis and optimal matching
- Residuals, diagnostics, goodness of fit, and model selection
- Interval censoring, late entry, and other models of incomplete
data including missing or incomplete covariates
- Semi- and non-parametric extensions of regression models as well as
regression trees, boosting and bagging, and other ensemble methods
Contributions that discuss the application of event history methods in
the setting of complex survey data are also very welcome.

Deadline for the submission of abstracts is February 17th, 2008.
Authors will be informed whether or not their submission has been
accepted by the end of March 2008. Authors of accepted papers will be
required to register for the conference and to present their paper
orally.
