If Jesus were a true born Finn
They would have let him in the Inn
And wondered at the Virgin birth
Not really thinking it was worth
All those damn cold nights in bed.
As the Star shone overhead
And the three wise men approaching near
Traded camels for reindeer
And decided to ride North
To visit Santa and so forth
Leaving Jesus in the Inn
Hoping he would get a Schwinn
To ride about on Christmas day...
But let the old familiar carols play
Jesus wasn't born a Finn
It would have been a mortal sin.
