Morning Debbie,

Can you re-scan, with your equipoment, hard copies of the PDF's you have?  This should then give you access to a document which, by using the text tool selector, or snapshot option,  you can highlilght and copy & paste to your hearts content.

I have had a a few offers from those who may be able to get into it, so will possibly take one of these up when I get a break from my currently hectic schedule

		you say they can't be broken into - if the pdf's have been protected then you will not be able to copy and paste. If you can, find who created the originals to lift the protection or provide you with the original format document for editing
