medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I remember reading that and wondering if a carpenter would actually be the one to make such a thing. Crosses for execution did not seem to require a
particularly high skill level to fabricate from what I've seen.
It has also not escaped my attention that this novel has made its way into the "historical fact" of some contemporary religious groups, probably not unlike
various elements made their way into the "historical fact" of the Golden Legend.
