I am experiencing MELODIC crashes for quite small data sets using
multi-session temporal concatenation. These have an initial data size of 41
x 37280 (the filtered_func_data is 45x54x45 after resampling to 4mm,
NR=41,NS=6). An empty report is issued, with no comment in the gica log. If
I run the melodic command (as it appears in the log) again on the .filelist
then I get a segmentation fault after "Writing results to : ....
groupmelodic.ica/mask". I am using Ubuntu 7.10 with 4GB of RAM and 4GB
swap. MELODIC works fine on the FEEDS data (and some other data I am
analysing with temporal contatenation). Watching the performance during the
analysis shows the memory usage to be moderate, and the analysis parameters
listed in the design.fsf match quite closely other analyses I have done with
NR=300, NS=25, which have completed without problems. Have you any ideas as
to the cause of the crash or how I can look into it?
Thanks,
Simon.
