Greetings all,
In addition to the recent CHAT standing committee changes,
we have also changed CHAT listserv moderators. As of now, I will be taking
over the role of list moderator from Dan Hicks. I have been an active
member of CHAT since the first meeting in Bristol (2003), and I look
forward to maintaining the listserv as a continuing source of momentum for
CHAT’s interests over the next few years. These latest changes are solely
administrative; the posting process and listserv format remains the same.
As a source of rapid dissemination for discussions and announcements, the
CHAT listserv provides immediate access to the international community of
archaeologists concerned with contemporary and historical archaeological
theory and practice. Presently the CHAT listserv includes over 300 regular
subscribers and is expanding. Please continue to utilize this
listserv as a means of communicating relevant local and international
archaeological news, job and conference announcements, publications,
awards, discussion topics, and questions. The CHAT standing committee
welcomes unsubscribed colleagues to join the listserv at
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/contemp-hist-arch.html.
Please contact me at [log in to unmask] with any questions or
comments about the posting process. Additional enquiries may be addressed
to members of the CHAT standing committee. A summary of the updated CHAT
standing committee appears below.
Cheers,
Krysta
