RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (SYSTEMATIC REVIEWS)

The Royal Liverpool Children's NHS Trust and the University of Liverpool have been awarded the first NHS programme grant in paediatrics. This research programme aims to develop a range of instruments and guidelines to identify and manage adverse drug reactions (ADRs) in children and young people.
You will work within a review team to conduct the systematic review and supervise a Research Assistant. You will have a good first degree, an ability to manage both quantitative and qualitative data as well as possess good organisational and communication skills. The post is available for 3 years.

The main purpose of this post is to contribute to an NIHR-funded programme of research concerned with providing important evidence about the incidence and nature of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) in children and subsequently developing validated methodologies for pharmacovigilance in children. However the postholder will also have opportunities to contribute to the work of the Centre more generally, depending on their experience and interests. Full training will be given.
