The Quality Improvement Section of the Royal Statistical Society is pleased to announce that a Quality Forum entitled How to improve an organisation will be held on Thursday 10th January 2008 from 13:00 to 16:00 on the 5th floor of the James Weir Building, University of Strathclyde, 75 Montrose St, Glasgow, G1 1XJ, which is approximately 500m from Queen Street Station. Light refreshments will be provided.
Professor Bitici of the University's Department of Design, Manufacture and Engineering Management will provide an academic perspective on the current challenges that face organisations when trying to improve. Dr Moore Allison of Catalyst Scotland will discuss the general improvement approach provided by Six Sigma and Lean. Kirsteen Caldow, a Six Sigma Black Belt with Barclays Wealth, will present a case study.
