The RM add-on will be shipped this year (November/December)
Until people have had a chance to look at it properly I don't think a
full user assessment can be got. Would delay coming to any conclusions
(and any implementation decisions) until the full product is there.
I too see the filing structure as one of the main questions to be
addressed - here it's in relation to the JISC Function/Activity Model.
The Records Centre looks like a Trojan horse when set against corporate
control. (ie there should only be one) Policy should be established
quickly - if not - drift and unplanned or parochial implementation will
happen.
