Fascinating that Nurse regulation is being delayed while "Shipman" has
been used to justify extensive changes in fitness to practise procedures
by doctors. There doesn't seem to be any good reason for the delay in
enabling the NMC to set up specialist registers. There must be some
resistance to the principle, surely?
