Hi Heather,
I've just tested 4.0.2 and also 4.0.0 with the 4.0.2 patch installed
and everything runs fine. The ls -l listing looks correct for file
fmri.nii.gz. Is it possible that your FSL download was corrupted?
Can you tell us exactly which version of FSL you installed, and
whether (and how) you patched it? Also, exactly what operating system
you are using, and the output from fslerrorreport.
