A new paper from American researchers John Pucher and Ralph Buecher (planning and policy) has
been scheduled for publication next July in _Transportation Reviews_. It looks at cycling policy
successes from the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany, and contrasts those with UK and US
examples. Here is the notice posted to the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals
(apbp) list.

Dear All,
John Pucher, Ph.D. has written an article titled "Making Cycling
Irresistible: Lessons from the NL, DK, and Germany" that has been accepted
for publication in the Oxford University journal Transport Reviews. Due to
the usual publication backlog though, John's article will not appear in the
publication until July 2008. Therefore, the journal permitted John to post
this preprint working paper version of the article on his own website (dated
November 12th).

Because we are all exploring the range of bicycle facilities, I wanted
to forward this article to the apbp readers.
Thanks so much,
Anne
