You will be working within the Computing department which is renowned
nationally and internationally for its interdisciplinary research
from a strong base in computer science. You will be expected to
participate fully in research, teaching and administration. The
normal teaching load is approximately 3 course units per annum,
including core and option courses, as well as supervising personal
tutees and providing undergraduate and research student supervision.
You will have a first degree and PhD or equivalent with a strong
background in computing-based
interdisciplinary research. Either a track record in gaining external
funding for research or be able to demonstrate such a potential. You
will contribute to the delivery of our mainstream computing
programmes as well as being able to lead on curriculum development
that reflect the interdisciplinary research interests of the
department. Post A will be invited to be the course leader for our
innovative undergraduate degree called creative computing.
