Dear Carine,
as the first appearance really looks like a miniature elephant my first
thought was hyrax too. I checked it against my Procavia skull. The form
of the maxillar teeth is superficially similar, even the size fits
approximately (there are about six parallel lobes in 20 mm) but the form
of the alveolar part is different, there are two lobes per single teeth
(as Sheila and Simon already mentioned) and there is no extra cone aside
of the lobes as visible in your picture. So I would like to confirm
Sheilas and Simons rejections of Hyrax.
Best
Christian
