Reviews have become harder to get in Australia, I think.
I forget how many review copies Ginninderra sent out, perhaps too few.
So far I have seen only one review.
My first book, way back in 1983, from another tiny publisher without
distribution was reviewed widely, if briefly.
The other thing is to enter one's book for prizes and awards, and G. was
alert to this for a while, not that I made it onto anyone's short list.
What I lack the temperament for is going to bookshops and getting them to
stock one's book...
Some people perform their stuff so well they sell copies at the end of
poetry readings.
This also seems not to be me.
How about others?
