Can anyone tell me, please, what is the current state/status of the former
Tywarnhaile copper mine at Porthtowan, Cornwall, used for many years by
the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, for practical survey work for
mining students -- I still have up in the attic the map I drew in 1952 showing
some surface features and some of the underground workings
I know Imperial gave up the lease on it some years ago, but forget the details,
and have heard nothing recently.
