That's indeed possible... the main problem I can see is that not all the
monastic cathedrals followed Lanfranc. Winchester didn't; perhaps Worcester
didn't either (?). While some secular cathedrals - Old Sarum being the most
celebrated - completely overhauled what (in this case) was presumably
previously a 'classic' Regularis liturgy, given that Sherborne was
monasticised in the Athelwold/Dunstan/Oswald 'wave' of monastic reform.
