I've been asked to find out what practice elsewhere is with regards to
legalising documents such as degree certificates, transcripts etc.
1. Do you offer this service to your students or not?
2. If you do, how much do you charge? What do you charge for legalising
multiple documents at the same time?
3. If you don't offer this service, do you give them advice on where to get
their documents legalised?
4. Have there been problems with your approach?
Here at Warwick we have, for many years, charged a flat fee to legalise a
degree certificate or transcript and then passed those documents to our
solicitors on behalf of the students. However, this is becoming more common
than it used to be and thus taking up more time. As part of a review of the
service we provide I'd like to consoder whether this is the kind of service
other institutions offer, whether we should charge an admin fee etc.
