> ** ONLY OF INTEREST TO APPLE USERS **
To compile the C code from CCPN Analysis under Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard we
must
1. Install the developer tools on the Leopard install cd (optional
install for most users, but not us!)
2. Update fink with > fink selfupdate; fink update-all
3. Adjust our environment.txt file:
Find
"GL_LIB_FLAGS = -L$(GL_DIR)/lib -framework GLUT"
or similar and ammend to read
"GL_LIB_FLAGS = -L$(GL_DIR)/lib -framework GLUT - Wl,dylib_file,/
System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework/Versions/A/Libraries/
libGL.dylib:/System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework/Versions/A/
Libraries/libGL.dylib"
(all one line, no space between the dash and the Wl, )
and then run a "make clean" and "make" in the ccpn/c directory
This *is* ugly, but is a little tweak to get around a Leopard bug! I
have filed this bug with Apple, but they're unlikely to fix it for
ages so if you encounter it elsewhere please submit it too!! - This
might make them fix it sooner.
Thanks, Dan
