Without wishing to get on on linguistics, Sele Priory, if it like the
majority of monastic cells, almost certainly had a water[-driven corn mill, either
on a pond or a leat. The liklihood is a timber-framed building with a single
vertical wheel. It could be stone but the ones I have looked at in
Lincolnshire are not. Its locatiohn is most likely to bwe fixed by the waterworks.
