Erratum - not Civil War but a War of the Roses battle,
The Crewe Waters by Rev Pegler in 1914. The nearest battle would be
Blore Heath, surely? But that's miles out.
Slaughterbrook, Slaughterhill Brook is also called Gory Brook, and
there's a Slaughterhill Bridge there, too.
