Career Development Fellowship
£25,000-£27,000 per annum depending on qualifications and skillset
The MRC Biostatistics Unit aims to advance medical science by the
development of statistical methodology. It is one of Europe's leading
biostatistics research institutions and includes many internationally
renowned statisticians. It provides a privileged environment for conducting
research, with negligible administration, no requirement to teach, and
access to important applications of high public interest.
Applications are invited for a Career Development Fellowship. The post will
involve methodological research, empirical research and collaboration on
applied projects directed at the development of statistical methods for
meta-analysis, evidence synthesis and technology appraisal, with particular
applications in clinical trials and human genome epidemiology.
You will be a Post Doctoral candidate or possess equivalent experience in
the field of medical statistics.
You will be a good team member with excellent organisational skills,
attention to detail and a flexible approach. You will maintain high
standards through the quality of your work.
This is a full time fixed term position for 3 years. In addition to your
salary we offer a flexible pay and reward policy, 30 days annual leave
