A Medical Statistician is required to collaborate in an international programme of work on the acute treatment of severe head injury, and also to work on trials in the area of mental health. The main role will be to contribute to the design and analysis of clinical trials, with a particular emphasis on the development of innovative approaches to trial design. The team is led by Professor Gordon Murray and based in the Section of Public Health Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. The candidate should have a PhD or MSc plus equivalent experience in medical statistics. A working knowledge of SAS is highly desirable.
